Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sidekick Log, a browser extension and related services operated by Screate Labs ("Sidekick Log," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using Sidekick Log, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Sidekick Log is provided for lawful purposes only. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

The Service is intended for use with personal or business Gmail accounts to assist with managing and surfacing high-signal conversations. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for automated scraping, bulk data collection, or any form of email harvesting
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any data produced by it
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract any part of the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates Google's Terms of Service or Gmail API policies
• Use the Service for any unlawful or abusive purpose
• Use the Service to process email data from accounts you do not own or do not have authorisation to access. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any email data accessible through your account.

3. Availability and No SLA

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or without interruption. The Service is provided on a best-efforts basis and no uptime SLA is provided.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Sidekick Log offers the same subscription with monthly billing at $99/month or annual billing at $990/year, with a 7-day free trial where provided at checkout. There is no permanent free plan. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected subscription renews at its displayed rate. Current included features are shown on the Pricing page.

Payments are processed by Polar. We do not store or process your payment-card information. Eligible paid subscription purchases have a separate 14-day refund window. This refund period is distinct from the 7-day free trial.

5. Signal Accuracy

Signal detection uses local rules and AI-assisted classification. Sidekick Log does not guarantee that every email will be correctly classified, that all high-priority signals will be surfaced, or that the Service is free from errors or omissions. You should not rely solely on Sidekick Log for business-critical decisions.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful activity. You may also delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hi@screate.co.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• Read-only Gmail access. Sidekick Log can read Gmail data you authorize but cannot send, delete, label, archive, or otherwise modify messages.
• Browser-based detection. Core signal detection and conversation-state logic run in the browser, with derived records stored locally.
• AI processing, on by default. While AI enrichment is on, limited conversation context such as sender, subject, and snippet is sent through the Sidekick Log proxy to our inference providers. You can switch it off in settings.
• No cloud copy of your inbox. Sidekick Log does not create or retain a full cloud replica of your Gmail mailbox.

9. Data Deletion and Uninstall

You may revoke Gmail access through your Google Account, clear locally stored Sidekick Log data from the extension settings, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling removes the extension's local Chrome storage. For deletion requests involving server-side account or subscription records, contact hi@screate.co.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidekick Log disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sidekick Log shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
